Basic Policy Against Anti-Social Forces

Tokaido REIT Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “Tokaido REIT Management”) has established a basic policy on severing ties with anti-social forces that threaten the order and safety of civil society for the purpose of maintaining public trust and ensuring the appropriateness and soundness of operations by firmly rejecting unjust demands or such from anti-social forces and working to have a framework in place for severing ties with anti-social forces even under ordinary circumstances.

1. Action against anti-social forces will be taken as an organization, rather than leaving it solely up to the person in charge or department in charge.
2. Action against anti-social forces will be taken in cooperation with external expert organizations such as police, the National Center for Removal of Criminal Organizations, the Tokyo Center for Removal of Criminal Organizations and attorneys.
3. Whether legal or not and regardless of the reason, no business will be conducted with anti-social forces whatsoever and all ties with anti-social forces will be severed.
4. The advice of external expert organizations will be proactively sought and legal action, both civil and criminal, will be taken should there be unjust demands or such from anti-social forces.
5. There will be no backroom deals with or provision of funds to anti-social forces for whatever reason.
